Day 1

 

Arrival in indore – Indore local sightseeing

Arrive in Indore and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Ujjain. This town of Kalidasa features its prime in his most – loved composition, Meghdoot. Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple – one of the 12 main Jyotirling, Kaal Bhairav Mandir, Mangalnath Mandir, Sandipani Ashram. Night halt in Indore

MANDU

Mandu is the fortress town celebrated for its architecture. Visit Hindola Mahal, Jahaz Mahal, Echo Point, Rewa Kund, Jama masjid, Baz bahadur's palace, Rupmati pavilion, Hoshang Shah's tomb & Nilkanth Mandir. After lunch, proceed to Indore. Night halt in Indore..

Day 3

 

OMKARESHWAR / MAMLESHWAR – MAHESHWAR

 

After breakfast, proceed to visit Omakareshwar & Mamleshwar jyotirlingas on an island in the Narmada river. Later visit Rajwada in Maheshwar, a beautiful fort located on the banks of the Narmada river. This is the seat of administration of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar. Free time in Maheshwar which is famous for its Maheshwari sarees. Night halt

Day 4

 

INDORE LOCAL SIGHTSEEING - DEPARTURE

 

Indore local sightseeing includes Bada Ganpati, Annapurna Devi Mandir, Vaishnodevi

Temple-a miniature version of the original and Kaanch Mandir-a beautiful Mandir made of glass, Rajwada Palace - built by the Holkars-the erstwhile rulers of the region (closed on Mondays). Departure to hometown. Tour concludes.
