Day 1 DEPARTURE FROM MUMBAI Board 12859 Gitanjali Exp from Mumbai CST at 06.00 hrs
Day 2 KOLKATA RLY, STATION - HOTEL Arrival at Railway Station at 12.30hrs & transfer to hotel. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day free for leisure and shopping. Overnight stay at Kolkata
Day 3 KOLKATA FULL DAY CITY TOUR - KOLKATA SEALDAH RLY STATION After breakfast check out from hotel and start for full day sightseeing. After that transfer to the Sealdah Railway Station to board 12343 Darjeeling Mail at 22:05 hrs for onward journey.
Day 4 NJP RLY STATION - GANGTOK (125 kms / 4 hrs) Arrival at NJP Railway Station & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day free for leisure and shopping. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 5 GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING After breakfast start for a full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft center (maximum 6 hours) Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 6 EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE AND BABA MANDIR After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 7 GANGTOK - DARJEELING After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Rest of day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 8 DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING Early morning (at 4:00 am), driven to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft World's 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Center (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hours from 9:00 to 13:00). Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 9 DARJEELING - MIRIK - NJP RLY STATION (98 kms / 3 hrs) After breakfast proceed to Mirik. Enroute enjoy lavish greenery of Tea Gardens. Lunch at Mirik enjoy scenic beauty of Mirik lake and walk into the Nepal Border. Proceed towards NJP railway station to board the 12344Up 'Darjeeling Mail' (2000 hrs.). Overnight train journey
Day 10 KOLKATA - HOWRAH RLY STATION Arrive at Kolkatta at 6.00hrs, freshen up in a hotel proceed towards Howrah station to board the 12860 Gitanjali Exp at 13:50 hrs.
Day 11 ARRIVAL IN MUMBAI Arrive at Mumbai CST at 21.20 and take home the beautiful memories of the tour.

  • Permit required for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 02 copies of pass – port size photograph, original id proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing the permit.
